As a patient in a semi-private room, for the past two days, I have heard this nurse not only speak politely and explain everything to me, but I am absolutely amazed at the quiet, gentle voice and way she handles the patient in the other bed. It seems to me that the other patient has Alzheimer’s and recently had two bad seizures. She is hard to handle, but this nurse gets her to eat and keeps her diaper changed, and cleans her well, talking gently to her always. This nurse checks on the patient very often and the patient now accepts this nurse's help as though she knows she can trust her. Thank you, Mai Pham, for being such an amazing influence. HCA Southeast is lucky to have a nurse like her! We salute all nurses for everything you do, but especially Mai! Thank you for being my angel this week!
