My wife and I would like to express our deep gratitude to the entire staff for their efforts, but one in particular. During labor, complications arose that limited oxygen to the baby. Maisoon instinctively did what I’m sure anyone else would have done by reaching in and lifting the baby’s head off the cord in order to allow blood and oxygen to flow. She kept her hand in that position for several minutes all the while reassuring us that all was as it should be.

Maisoon effectively averted disaster and saved our child’s life by what she did instinctively. To her, we will be forever grateful. I’ve always assumed superheroes wore capes and leotards which turns out to not be the case. Our superhero wears scrubs and a hijab. She will never be forgotten even if we never see her again.
