My daughter was a patient on the peds floor Jan 7-11 following surgery. We were lucky enough to have Makaley as our nurse for at least three shifts during our stay. Her care and concern was so genuine, I was completely at ease with her. She paid such close attention to the little things to make sure my daughter was as comfortable as she could be; no wrinkles in the bedding, tubes not being laid on, a properly fitting gown, etc. I was so happy to see her at those shift changes! My daughter has CP and is not verbal, so the extra care she took meant so much. We had many great nurses during our stay, but she was my favorite!

Prior to my daughter's surgery, I was dreading spending several nights in the hospital with her. I'm so happy to say the experience was better than I could have ever imagined it would be. Everyone I came in contact with was friendly and courteous: housekeeping, dietary, aides and nursing. The nursing and aide staff ALWAYS asked if there was anything else they could do for me before leaving the room. We were very well taken care of.
