Makayla not only provides exceptional care to her patients, but she is a leader in modeling and helping develop teamwork on our unit. She is very supportive to the number of new graduate nurses by always being encouraging and willing to teach. Makayla demonstrates teamwork by creating a culture where helping your coworkers is part of your job and that you should never feel bad for asking a question. In addition to this, she is always going above and beyond with care to her patients and can always be found with a big smile on her face.
