Makena shows a level of patience and caring for our elderly patients.
On a day we lost two patients, Makena went to Target after her shift to buy a patient a coloring book. It was a rough day emotionally for all of us but that didn't stop her from going the extra mile for the patient. The patients get excited every time they hear Makena is going to be their nurse. Makena shows a level of patience and caring for our elderly patients. She truly shows them the dignity they deserve, both during treatment and in their final moments.
