Makinzie was the RN assigned to my mom for several days during her week plus stay in the hospital. She provided excellent medical care but went way above and beyond that with her personal care and compassion toward us. In my opinion, the human touch goes a long way toward healing. Makinzie would sit and hold my mom's hand when she was in distress- when she was leaving her last shift she even hugged each family member who was there.
