I was admitted to the hospital for two nights and three days with a cat bite infection. I was fortunate to have Max as my nurse on my last shift before being discharged from the hospital. By the time his shift started, my morale was very low, as I felt like I was being treated more like a body than a human. Max did an excellent job of communicating with me and honoring me as an individual human being. Not just a case that he needed to administer medication to. Max was the first nurse that helped me take a shower. It turns out the shower was right across the hall from my room. That was Thursday and the last shower I had taken was Monday morning. It seems like a small thing, but hygiene and feeling like somebody was listening to me made a huge difference. Max then helped coordinate an efficient discharge procedure for me after my last IV was administered. His level of care and attention completely changed my perspective.

Thank you, Maksymilian, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
