Malak is a registered nurse who joined the esteemed King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) in 2021 and currently works in the Medical-Surgical Unit on the 8th floor. Malak’s outstanding nursing care for patients and their families has made a significant difference in fostering a culture of compassionate care in our unit.

I am honored to nominate Malak for the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses for her exceptional care of a breast cancer patient in our unit. During my morning rounds, I had the privilege of meeting the patient’s husband, who expressed deep gratitude for Malak's commitment to exceptional nursing care from the moment the patient was admitted. "Malak ensured my wife’s comfort, both physically and emotionally, always staying by her side to provide support. Her response to my wife's needs was wonderful. She explained each action clearly and promptly addressed her concerns. Malak treated her complaints, especially her pain, according to medical instructions, which made her more comfortable and satisfied. I am convinced that such courtesy and excellent nursing care go above and beyond our expectations. I hope she will be recognized for this great job, " the patient’s husband stated.

Indeed, Malak is a competent, professional, attentive, and compassionate nurse. Her daily work is genuinely evident. Her ability to balance emotional support with the best clinical nursing care makes her a deserving candidate for the DAISY Award.
