Not only was she calm and supportive, but she was good at her job, she knew what needed to be done and did it with confidence.
Our newborn came in for what we thought was an insignificant problem that quickly spiraled and ended us in the PICU for 2 weeks. I was admitted to a different hospital at the same time, so by the time I got to my son he was already sedated with more tubes and wires than I'd care to count. Maley’s face was the first I saw, and she comforted me (and my entire family) from that moment until our discharge. Not only was she calm and supportive, but she was good at her job, she knew what needed to be done and did it with confidence. The only time my husband and I left our son's side for the entire 2 weeks was on our anniversary to grab dinner and it was because we trusted Maley .. quite literally.. with our lives. "Thank you" will never be enough.
