Had a gentleman come in for problems with his cholecystectomy tube who mentioned that he had been living in his car, and that his car and life vest had been stolen. He was belligerent and very rude to Malissa, but she still went above and beyond and called to get him a new vest. Trouble is he didn't have an address to deliver it to. So, she called La Puente homeless shelter and got him a bed, and it just so happens that it was the day before their huge Christmas party, which had food, games, and presents! Then got him a ride there! So, she arranged to get him his life-saving vest, a place to stay, a ride, and even Christmas! It was like a Hallmark movie!
