I recently had a manometry procedure performed by Malissa Wampler, and I truly couldn't have asked for a better person to perform this or be in the room with me. I was super anxious as there was no sedation or meds to calm my nerves. I've had several surgeries and procedures, and this was by far the scariest for me due to how alert and involved I was. Malissa explained everything beforehand and walked me through the entire process. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time. We took breaks when I got scared/anxious, and she reminded me God was with me and nothing bad was going to happen to me. If I had a different nurse, I probably would've had a different experience. People like Malissa are super rare in today's medical world. We need more Malissa's in the industry. Malissa, if you see this, just know you touched my heart and soul during a very scary time in my life. This test was just one stop on my crazy medical journey, and I am so thankful your kind heart and soul were part of it. Thank you for everything. You are a true hero.
