Professor Darrow embodies every good characteristic a person can have. She is incredibly caring and demonstrates professionalism at all times. She exudes confidence in everything she does and encourages students to do the same. She clearly wants all the students on campus to do well! She greets every student she meets and helps build up their confidence. She speaks to students as equals and maintains professionalism while still being personable.

Professor Darrow is incredibly enthusiastic when teaching! She is always smiling and full of energy when role-playing in simulation and lab or during appointments in the tutoring center. She gets students laughing and presents materials in a real way. She reaches out to students to ask them how things are going and if they need help with learning. She tries to match students' learning styles to deliver information in a way they can understand.

Nearing my graduation, I was struggling because I was overwhelmed in my last semester, doubting my abilities, and concerned about taking the NCLEX and beginning my career. She opened her door to me and allowed me to get my feelings out. She made me realize that I was not the only one feeling this way. She urged me to talk to my professor and followed up. She made me feel more confident in my abilities to continue the rest of the program and do well on my boards.
