Two nominations:

Mallory provided CPR to a student with a known heart condition. She was called to a scene where the student quickly took a turn requiring her to start CPR and place pads for an AED. After the event, the student was safely transported to the hospital where he is currently receiving ICU care. Mallory went above and beyond in this emergent situation. She used her critical thinking and training to give the student the best care and outcome.

In the school setting, with minimal resources, she displayed an excellent skill set and a professional demeanor that should be recognized. Mallory provided emergency care to a 6th Grade student who experienced a cardiac event requiring CPR. Her quick and appropriate response saved the student's life. She was able to provide life-saving measures within minutes of the student collapsing. Her ability to make critical, independent nursing decisions during this crisis made a huge impact on the positive outcome for our student!
