Mallory Krpan, RN-BSN

Mallory contacted a family member driving from a distant state to see a loved one who unfortunately passed away shortly after arriving at the emergency department. Mallory took the time to call the family member who was driving, send condolences, and express that it was an honor to have cared for their family member. The family member later called hospital staff to thank Mallory and share that the call from Mallory was so compassionate that it took their breath away. It gave the family peace of mind and allowed them to get through the rest of the drive to Iowa.
