September 2024 Honoree
Mallory True, LPN
Mallory went above and beyond almost every day of my stay. She advocated for me, the night shift nurses, and even the doctors. She stayed after her shift several days to ensure that I got the care I needed. There was an elderly patient next to me that I could hear her talking with. This patient was hard of hearing, so the conversations were often loud. I heard Mallory stating that the patient’s hair was tangled. Mallory stayed in that room, de-tangling the patient’s hair and brushing it for her. Mallory was my nurse for 4 days, and during those days, she brushed and braided that patient’s hair every day. The care and compassion she shows for her patients is what separates her from any other nurse I had during my stay.
Thank you, Mallory, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
