November 2014 Honoree
mallory wisdom, BSN, RN
Mallory works the evening shift in the labor and delivery unit. She is an amazing nurse. I was admitted to Parkland on September 19th, and I had my baby September 20th. I had just lost my baby, she was only 21 weeks and had to have an emergency D&C. Mallory was the nurse that took care of me after I came out of surgery. Mallory made sure I was comfortable and that my needs were taken care of. She treated my family wonderfully. She made us laugh even in a time of sorrow. She even wrote my baby's name on the patient board instead of my name and I thought that was just beautiful. Ms. Mallory also wrote me a wonderful card about my loss and it was very personable like she had known me forever.
Thank you, Mallory, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
