Malorie S Neal, RN, BSN

This past Saturday Malorie Neal from 4S felt called to do what any nurse would do in times of tragedy. Malorie found the time in her busy schedule to fulfill the IUH Value of purpose by doing good in the lives of one devasted Indiana family. Malorie served with compassion and emotional excellence to a local family in their deepest sorrow. Malorie came in on a Saturday in which she was not scheduled to work, to ride in the ambulance, and accompany a minor to her father's funeral. Malorie provided physical strength and emotional support for this patient and helped facilitate her mother's wishes of being present for her father's funeral. This patient's father and younger sister both had their life cut short by a senseless tragedy and Malorie served with a purpose showing empathy and compassion on their life's darkest days. Thank you for being selfless, living out the IU Health Values, and doing what any of us would want to be done for our family in times of grief on our weakest days.
