Mandeep Brar, FNP

Mandeep is the lead NP and program Manager for our Care Transition Team. In her role as a leader she has consistently led with compassion and professionalism, while consistently modeling our values. She is a testament to our excellent nursing practice and inspires her team to achieve better outcomes for our patients. During the height of the COVID pandemic, the transitional care team was asked to assist in various roles and functions that were desperately needed to support our community. Mandeep was instrumental in leading the operations of two major projects, the COVID testing site, and the vaccine clinic. Both projects required clinical oversight and a tremendous amount of logistical and operational planning. She successfully led both projects with grace and excellence. The vaccine clinic was one of the key drivers of helping lower the prevalence of COVID in our community and protecting those on the front lines. Each weekday for the past 6 months, Mandeep led the vaccination team with every present challenge regarding changes in supply, demand, and patient populations. Her leadership was always compassionate, thorough, and she exemplified human kindness. Mandeep is always willing to jump in and help with everything and inspire those around her to do the same. She leads by example!
