Shriners Hospitals for Children Greenville would like to congratulate Mandie Upton, BSN, on receiving the first annual DAISY Award presented at the hospital.
Mandie is a nurse on the hospital's inpatient unit and says, "I enjoy coming to work every day because I love my patients and my co-workers. We are all a family." She says, "I never expected to receive the DAISY Award and feel very surprised and honored." She was nominated for the award by a coworker who says, "Mandie provides amazing care and comfort to her patients with great skill. She appropriately reflects the hope and compassion of a nurse."
