Mandy is an Extraordinary Nurse. I was a patient and she was very special. She was non-stop. She took care of all my needs. What sets her apart from any nurse I met was the compassion she has. While I had a 3 day stay on the 4th floor, I had a roommate who was handicapped. She would break down and cry; I felt so bad for her. Mandy came in and hugged and comforted her, talked to her, letting her know it was going to be okay. She took her time with that patient and also took her time with me. She joked with both of us. She naturally has compassion. She is definitely in the right career! She was our favorite nurse. There are many great nurses out there but I have never met one who treats you no different no matter if you are handicapped or not. Mandy is a true DAISY Nurse.
