Mandy Feldkamp, RN

All of the staff at Tomah Health were wonderful, but Mandy stood out a bit more from the rest. My mother has dementia, and she does not always understand what the staff are doing or asking her to do. Mandy was so patient with my mom. The way she talked to her and interacted was special. She took the time to explain everything she was doing and just connected with her from the beginning. No one else seemed to get my mom's attention like her. She always approached her gently and with respect. She had a smile on her face and never gave an impression as though my mom was a burden. She should be recognized for her bedside manner and her ability to interact with someone who doesn't always understand. It gave me, as her son, such peace of mind when she was her nurse!
