My Mandy story begins in 2018 when my brother was transferred to this unit from intensive care. Mandy had been his nurse on this unit two other times and was genuinely excited to see him. I had driven up from Florida and was told to say my goodbyes, and I was truly given hope with Mandy's bright, sincere attitude and her smile. She radiates a light of hope.

Whenever I would call and check on my brother, she would share updates about my brother's current condition. Her commitment to honoring my brother's services in the Navy and respecting him as a special person has always been unwavering. Her evident goal has always been to provide cheer, smiles, comfort, and caring. Mandy goes way beyond providing adequate and professional care! She demonstrates sweet kindness and love, and has throughout the years that my brother was under her care. She truly shows love to every patient and family member. I'm thankful she has made my brother's years here feel sunny, even though he couldn't go out in the sunshine. Mandy is an angel.
