Mandy Headrick, BSN, RN
Mandy Headrick has been a model for the I CARE principles. Integrity- after having surgery, my money clip had become misplaced and she searched for it, finding it under my bedside table, and promptly returned it, alleviating my anxiety. Commitment and Advocacy- She made all my family and friends feel welcome and at ease. She stood up for me when the ambulance driver was trying to rush me. Respect- She always addressed me and my family politely. Excellence- When she changed my bandages, she always added a smiley face when putting the date and time on them. She checked on me often, making sure they were not too tight. It is often the small things that make the biggest impact. I could go on and on but I just want to say thank you for your service!
