Mandy was a ray of sunshine each time she visited with my husband during his twenty months of cancer treatment. Whatever the news about the progression of his disease, she was kind, proactive, and she most importantly gave us courage to take the next necessary steps. We are not medically trained, so the ideas of chemotherapy, injections, at-home chemo, procedures, and eventually Hospice mortified us. What if we made mistakes? What if we made the wrong treatment decisions? Those fears were addressed by Mandy in a respectful, patient, and affirming, professional manner that indicated not only her wisdom, but her never-ending compassion and empathy. We are grateful for her care.
