She really went the extra mile in my care last night. I got sick running errands and did not bring any books with me when I suddenly had to go to the hospital. I asked a couple of staff members for help, suggesting maybe a bible since this is a Baptist institution. I am a big reader and don’t like TV a lot. No luck until I finally mentioned the problem (Intense boredom) to this nurse. Manina was able to scout around and then brought me not only a Bible but some written paper pamphlets to read. Also, I was hospitalized after supper time and was pretty hungry at the time she came on duty. She asked if she could bring me some snacks to get through the night, which she did (crackers, peanut butter, and applesauce) This extra effort greatly increased my comfort and helped me sleep soundly.
