My sister has an intellectual disability. Manuel was very reassuring to her, and he always patiently listened to all her concerns and issues despite her speech difficulties. It was clear Manuel was a knowledgeable, experienced professional, but beyond that, he demonstrated exceptional understanding and care for our sister. She was always calm when he was in her room.
