When my mother was under Manny's care, not only was he professional and kind, but my mother also received the warmth and compassion as a fellow human being.
There were moments when Manny could have lost his patience, but instead, he always had kind words and a smile. My mother was worried and embarrassed because she kept wetting the bed, but Manny always stopped by and changed it out without any complaints and assured her that he was there to do whatever was necessary, again always with a smile. My mother says that Manny is an angel and that no one has made her feel so good in any similar facility.
When he saw her sad and discouraged, his kind words cheered her up. People like Manny deserve all the recognition in the world because nurses with the amount of professionalism and human kindness that he demonstrates are very few.
