Manuela Borrayo, RN

I was admitted into the hospital after learning I had kidney cancer. As any human being would be, I was scared. I was alone not knowing what was going to happen. Then in walked Manuela, a ray of sunshine in this dark place. Manuela said something to me that I have never heard a nurse tell me: “I know you are scared but I want you to know that you are in great hands and we will do everything in our power to make sure you are ok”. Manuela is exactly the definition of a great nurse. She has had the same great professional attitude as when she came in at 0730 in the morning. This hospital is extremely lucky to have a great nurse like Manuela working for them!
