After going through a pretty routine procedure, I came out with an abnormally high amount of pain. Mrs. Bernaola was extremely sympathetic to my situation and basically camped out at my side for the next several hours even holding my hand to reassure me as I discovered what a 9-10 on the pain scale felt like. Due to unforeseen circumstances, she actually ended up staying past her normal shift making sure I was taken care of after I got admitted overnight for pain management as a result of this situation. Her cool and calm demeanor along with a very matched sense of humor made a painful day have a silver lining. Tell her thanks for me.
