My husband was admitted to the ER on Saturday morning. His nurse for the day was a lovely young man named Marc. He was very professional, yet easy to talk to. He listened to us cheerfully and paid attention to everything we said. After some tests were completed and my husband was to be admitted upstairs, Marc made the appropriate arrangements for him to be transferred. However, as it turned out, that transfer took 4-5 hours! Needless to say, the waiting time became quite stressful for my husband and myself and other family members who drove to the hospital. Marc was very patient with us and empathized with our predicament. He made repeated calls for us and was in constant communication with other staff members to try and expedite our transfer. he was truly an advocate for us the entire time and we are most grateful and appreciative of him!
