I am the mother of a son who underwent brain surgery.
During my son’s confinement, I was deeply touched and consistently impressed by this nurse’s dedication, compassion, and professionalism. He truly showed his genuine passion for his work, and his deep understanding of patients’ needs was very evident.
Marc administered medications and performed wound care with great attention to detail. Everything he did was done carefully and with purpose. But what I admired most was the way he communicated—with calmness, clarity, and empathy.
He took the time to explain even complex medical information in a way that was easy to understand. This meant so much to us, especially during moments of anxiety and uncertainty. His presence brought comfort not only to my son but also to me as a mother.
I also noticed how he created a calm and supportive environment for patients. He was patient, compassionate, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure the comfort and well-being of everyone under his care.
I personally witnessed how he was able to calm a frightened patient and reassure them that everything would be alright. It was in those moments that I saw not just a nurse, but someone who truly cares.
He is truly a valuable asset to Makati Medical Center.
