Marcee makes sure she assess her patients thoroughly. When assessing a young woman who was admitted Marcee felt a lump on the patient's breast. Marcee discussed her findings with the patient, who confirmed that she also felt the lump. Marcee's assessment resulted in the patient receiving appropriate diagnosis, treatment and care for breast cancer.

Due, in a large part to her efforts, I have come away from this experience, not only with my symptoms relieved, but edified and prepared to handle my own care.
