I do not know if I can describe only one particular situation since everyone provided excellent care to our daughter. Something that stands out to me a lot was the day they gave us the result of the myelogram, the first post-diagnosis.
It was a devastating day. However, Marcela approached us in such a way that controlled the situation, reassuring us, identified words that made us feel optimistic again in such a pitiful situation, without creating false hopes. We know that it can be part of the day-to-day work, but Marcela stood out as a DAISY Nurse at this moment.
