Marcella Rose, LPN

Marcella Rose is a nurse in Radiology. I come in for a paracentesis every other week. I have been doing this for some time. Although I hate the procedure, I love seeing her. She always puts me at ease. She is so well organized and anticipates possible problems, so she is always ready with a plan. The room is always ready for me, with a warm blanket and two pillows. This is because I tend to be cold all the time, and I have arthritis in my neck. I can't get comfortable on one pillow. She remembers from my previous visits. She is always polite and friendly and takes the time to explain what is happening. She also willingly answers any questions that I may have. She is also very efficient, and over time she has reduced the time that the treatment takes. She is the heart and soul of her team. I would like to nominate Marcella Rose for the DAISY Award. She certainly is an excellent candidate.
