On a cold winter day, a homeless patient presented via ambulance. Marci Adney noticed that she had no shoes. Marci went to her car and retrieved her Brooks running shoes. She gave them to the patient so she would be more comfortable when she was eventually discharged from the department. It is this kind of caring and compassion that makes Marci so special.
