My grandmother spent her last days in the ICU due to some unforeseen events. Marcia was there to take care of my grandma on her first night in the ICU and then take care of me on my grandma's last night on earth. As a nurse myself and a family member of Marcia's patient, I was in awe of her hard work and compassion. She truly treated my grandmother as if she were her own. She made an awful reality into one of the most touching memories I have. I have been told she is the "mother of the ICU" and I couldn't agree more. My experience with Marcia as my grandma's nurse will stay with me forever.
