Marcia McLean has the highest work ethic in the field of Nursing. Marcia is a true advocate for her patients and their families. Six months ago patient was admitted and was extremely dehydrated, bedridden, hypertensive and septic. Palliative Care got involved right away and made the patient level III. When Marcia came in she called several doctors and explained to them the need to replace electrolytes, provide patient with fluids, antibiotics, and improve patient's BP. Patient's phosphorous level was so low that patient became bedridden. Due to Marcia's actions and concerns this patient was able to go home. Patient came back to say "thank you."
