I had a lot going on last year and it's been hard. I had a spinal stroke and the amazing Neurology team was awesome. I had a spinal stimulator implanted. When I came out of OR, I had the absolute worst pain ever! Marcie was my nurse and she was outstanding! I cannot thank her enough-she helped me with my pain, helped me with breathing. Most of all she held my hand and kept me as calm as possible, not an easy job! The pain was bad. She never left my side. The pain started to ease and she was still there helping me to breathe because my oxygen level was low. She was definitely my angel in the post-op. Nursing is very hard, I was not the best patient but Marcie helped me! Thank you, Marcie.
