I would like to nominate Marco for the DAISY Award for the exceptional care he provided to me during the three renal embolization procedures. His compassion, professionalism, and unwavering commitment made me feel safe and supported during a very vulnerable time and left a lasting impression on me and my family. From the very first procedure, Marco made it a priority to ensure I felt comfortable, informed, and respected. He took the time to explain each step of the process in a way that I could understand. He was always patient with my questions and concerns. His ability to blame clinical excellence with genuine empathy, made all the difference in my experience. Marco has a calm, reassuring presence that ease my anxiety every time I enter the procedure room. He consistently checked in with me, made me sure I was OK, and even remembered me from a previous visit, which shows he really saw me as a person and not just a patient. That is someone who truly loves what he does and understands how big of an impact it makes in a patient when you are as kind and understanding as Marco. He created an environment of safety, dignity, and calm, something that’s hard to describe. It is deeply appreciated when you’re going through something physical and emotionally overwhelming. He treated me with such humility, humanity, and kindness that carried me through my procedure, and I’m incredibly thankful for his presence. He has been nothing short of amazing super hero.
