Each day Marcus comes to work, he has a positive attitude. His mission each day is to make sure that patients are treated with the highest quality care possible. He works with staff throughout the organization, in order that they have the tools and knowledge to do their job effectively to care for each patient.
Even in a time of crisis, Marcus treats everyone with respect. He speaks in a calm and caring voice. He considers every event as a learning opportunity. Everyone around him respects him and values his input.
When notified of a potential patient exposure to an infectious disease, Marcus organized phone calls and helped facilitate the organization's appropriate handling of this potential crisis situation.
Marcus leads the organization through patient safety events so that all involved learn from the experience and he initiates action plans to ensure patient safety.
