A patient required an emergent lap-chole and the next day required emergent ERCP (GI procedure). Marcy took care of the patient and got to know the patient and his wife. The procedure was lengthy and Marcy let the patient's wife know this. An hour later when Marcy left work she found the patient's wife in the parking lot crying unable to find her car. Marcy put her in her car and drove her around the parking lots until her car was found. Two days later the patient required another GI procedure. Marcy again took care of this elderly couple. The patient's wife was worried. She had a doctor's appointment and her husband usually drove her there. During the procedure Marcy drove the patient's wife to her doctor's appointment during her lunch hour and returned her to the patient's bedside. Marcy goes the extra mile, literally, for her patients.
