I must start out by saying that all the nurses that took care of my daughter during her stay were excellent. Marcy was my daughter's nurse. Her personality and compassion really stood out to my husband and me. I forgot to bring an extra set of pants for my daughter to change into and she offered to run to Target after her shift to get a pair for her! That to me is someone who goes way beyond their job duties to help someone in need. I did not take her up on her offer because I had a friend that lives around the corner to help. Even when I declined her offer she kept insisting that she did not mind. In the 12 hours she was here, we were able to talk about other things besides my daughter's case throughout the day, which takes your mind off of a sick child. I hope Marcy will get recognition for her amazing attitude and her willingness to assist us beyond what she is expected to do. Thank you!
