Mareena Matthew, RN

Nurse Mareena Matthew is very professional in dealing with her patients and colleagues. She can be one of the most qualified Charge Nurses we have. Even though it is busy and comes with a big list of responsibilities to be Charge Nurse, she does her job well and she always finds ways and time to help her fellow floor RNs on the unit. She knows when to step in when needed and is very knowledgeable. She takes her role very professionally and seriously. As Charge, she takes admission reports from other floors and it is a big help when the Staff RNs are busy. She does this without having to ask her, it’s just automatic. She is a great nurse but oftentimes goes unnoticed. I believe she deserves to be appreciated for being an Extraordinary Charge Nurse!!
