Nurse Margaret was so kind to me upon my discharge from the SDU. There wasn’t a pumping bra available in my size so she fashioned one for me out of a belly band. She not only answered questions but also coached me on pumping, self-care, and recovery. She was both instructive and showed compassion for me telling me that this is hard and that I need to take care of myself so I can care for my child. It’s been almost 3 weeks and I haven’t forgotten how well she cared for me. So thankful for her!
