Margaret Badiryan

During our OB hospital rotation, Margaret consistently went above and beyond to support both patients and fellow students. One day, a young first-time mother was struggling emotionally during labor, and Margaret stayed by her side, offering comfort, encouragement, and calm reassurance that visibly eased the mother's anxiety. She took the initiative to help her peers understand fetal monitoring strips and always volunteered first to assist with procedures, making sure everyone got a learning opportunity.

Her passion for obstetrics shone through in every interaction, inspiring those around her with her dedication and empathy. Margaret truly made a lasting impact on our clinical experience, and her compassionate leadership proves she embodies the meaning of the DAISY Award.
