Nurse Peggy Bullard has really made a difference throughout the 14 months I've been receiving chemo treatment at Miami Cancer Institute. She has made an effort to get to know me personally to remember my name and inquire about my family making me feel loved and important. She is an extraordinarily skillful and knowledgeable nurse who draws blood, injects, and disconnects the chemo with such gentleness and precision that one doesn't feel anything. She always greets me with a smile and treats me lovingly, while looking out for my wellbeing. She's willing to discuss my treatment and answer any questions. She clearly explains the procedure she is about to perform and answers any medical questions I might have. In all, I must say that her nursing skills and compassionate selfless ways go beyond the call of duty.
Miami Cancer Institute and Baptist Health South Florida are blessed to have an RN like Peggy in our system. It takes an extra special person to do what she does and how she does it every day.
