Margaret Downey, RN

Clinically, Margaret Downey has been instrumental in the further development of our pain service line, going above and beyond to help our patients receive the care they need and deserve. Due in part to her efforts, we were able to streamline a very valuable service to our community and grow it into something our ASC is extremely proud of. But Margi is so much more than that. Her extraordinary compassion is evident in all of her interactions here at the ASC with both patients and team-mates. Many of our patients have developed a relationship with Margi; even asking for her by name when they come to our facility. Margi is also the first person to reach out to a member of our team to offer support. Her incredible thoughtfulness and genuine heart are so appreciated by our ASC family. Her priority is always to make others happy. I honestly feel blessed to have Margi in my life, both as a team-mate and a friend. She embraces life, encourages goodness, and can put a smile on your face with her southern charm. Margi is such a special person and deserves this recognition for her beautiful human spirit
