Margaret Du, BSN, RN

I would like to recognize Margaret, RN, for the exceptional care she provided during my hospitalization. She is, without a doubt, the best nurse who has ever cared for me.

I was admitted in excruciating pain. Before Margaret took over my care, I was frustrated, anxious, and felt that I was not receiving the level of care I needed. From the moment she introduced herself, everything changed. She treated me with genuine compassion, kindness, and respect. She listened to my concerns, advocated for my comfort, and made me feel heard.

Margaret went above and beyond to ensure that my pain was managed appropriately. Because of her dedication and attentiveness, she transformed an incredibly difficult experience into one that was much more comfortable and manageable. I also had a nasogastric (NG) tube, which was extremely uncomfortable, but her reassuring presence, positive attitude, and constant encouragement helped me get through each day.

She never made me feel like I was just another patient. She checked on me frequently, anticipated my needs, explained everything clearly, and always treated me with patience, empathy, and professionalism. Her calm demeanor and warm personality provided comfort not only physically but emotionally as well. She truly cared about my well-being, and it showed in every interaction.

Margaret represents everything a nurse should be. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, attentive, professional, and genuinely dedicated to her patients. Nurses like her make a lasting impact on the lives of those they care for and are a true reflection of excellence in nursing. She is an incredible asset to your hospital and an outstanding representative of your organization.

Thank you, Margaret, for your unwavering compassion, exceptional care, and for treating me with dignity during one of the most difficult times in my life. I will never forget the kindness you showed me. You are truly an extraordinary nurse, and I hope you receive the recognition you so richly deserve.
