Margaret has been a nurse at NGH since 2013, so that’s 13 years this month. (April 26) Other than being a wonderful addition to the NICU, Margaret really cares about the lives of these babies and their families. She has created an area in the NICU that is lovingly referred to as Margaret’s closet. She spends her own money and supplies this with items that her patients need. This not only shows love for our NICU babies and our patients, but it embodies the very reason that Nashville General exists. “We care for you, for life.” Community outreach isn’t always a big production; sometimes it’s as simple as giving a new mom a car seat or newborn supplies to a family in need. Margaret should know how truly special her act of love is for this hospital.
