Margaret 'Maggie' M Hodder, RN BSN CMSRN

Although the nurses here rotate through the patients, I had a pretty good week with Maggie. She’s new to this specific job but knows exactly what she’s doing. At first, I thought she was just going through the motions. She was ultra sweet, and always concerned about my comfort. My unique situation she listened to. I talked about my life, and she talked about her daughter. By the time I got comfortable with her, it was Friday and my last day with her. She gave me a jacket to make sure I would stay warm. Totally unexpected but very much appreciated. A brand new jacket. I asked her “Where did you get this?” several times. No answer really, except “I got it for you.” Excuse me while I have a good cry.
